Terms of Service

Terms and conditions for using ARCHIVE-84 services.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between IdeaPiece Inc. (hereinafter "Company") and users regarding the use of ARCHIVE-84 services (hereinafter "Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

  1. "Service" refers to all features of ARCHIVE-84 provided by the Company, including AI-based document analysis, Q&A, and summarization.
  2. "User" refers to members and non-members who use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
  3. "Member" refers to a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the Company and can continuously use the Service.
  4. "Workspace" refers to a personal or team workspace where users can upload documents and use AI features.
  5. "Content" refers to all materials uploaded to the Service by users, including documents, text, and data.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms become effective by posting them on the Service screen or by notifying users through other means.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate relevant laws when reasonable grounds arise.
  3. When Terms are amended, the Company will announce the changes and effective date through in-service notices at least 7 days in advance. However, changes unfavorable to users will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
  4. Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may discontinue using the Service and withdraw their membership.

Article 4 (Membership Registration)

  1. Users apply for membership by filling in member information according to the registration form set by the Company and expressing their agreement to these Terms.
  2. The Company may refuse to approve or subsequently terminate the service agreement for applications that fall under the following cases:
    • If the applicant has previously lost membership under these Terms
    • If false information is provided or required information is not provided
    • If under 14 years of age
    • If registration significantly interferes with the Company's technical operations

Article 5 (Provision of Services)

  1. The Company provides the following services:
    • Document upload and storage service
    • AI-based document analysis and embedding service
    • Document-based Q&A service
    • Document summarization service
    • Personal and team workspace features
    • API service
    • Other services determined by the Company
  2. The Company may divide the Service into specific ranges and separately designate available hours for each range.
  3. In principle, the Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, the Service may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance.

Article 6 (Service Fees)

  1. The Company provides both free and paid services.
  2. Fees and payment methods for paid services are specified on the pricing page within the Service.
  3. The Company may change the fees for paid services with at least 30 days' notice.
  4. Paid fees are refunded according to the Company's refund policy.

Article 7 (User Obligations)

  1. Users must not engage in the following activities:
    • Registering false information during application or modification
    • Stealing others' information
    • Unauthorized modification of information posted by the Company
    • Transmitting or posting information other than that designated by the Company (such as computer programs)
    • Infringement of intellectual property rights including copyrights of the Company and third parties
    • Acts that damage the reputation of the Company and third parties or interfere with their business
    • Disclosing or posting obscene, violent, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the Service
    • Acts that interfere with the stable operation of the Service
    • Using the Service for illegal purposes
  2. Users must comply with relevant laws, these Terms, usage guidelines, and notices related to the Service.

Article 8 (Content Rights and Responsibilities)

  1. Copyright of content uploaded to the Service by users belongs to the respective users.
  2. The Company uses content uploaded by users only for the purpose of providing the Service (AI analysis, Q&A, summarization, etc.).
  3. Users must ensure that the content they upload does not infringe on third-party rights including copyrights and personal information.
  4. The Company is not responsible for legal disputes arising from content uploaded by users.
Uploaded documents are not used as general training data for external AI models. User documents are processed only as dedicated data for the respective user or team.

Article 9 (Service Usage Restrictions)

  1. The Company may restrict Service usage if a user violates the obligations of these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service.
  2. The Company may restrict Service usage or revoke membership in the following cases:
    • If false information was registered during membership application
    • If the Service is used to engage in activities prohibited by law or these Terms
    • If interfering with other users' Service usage or stealing their information
    • If using the Service to engage in activities contrary to public order and morals

Article 10 (Contract Termination and Refunds)

  1. Members may request contract termination (membership withdrawal) at any time through the Service settings or customer center.
  2. Upon membership withdrawal, all member data (uploaded documents, conversation history, etc.) will be immediately deleted and cannot be recovered.
  3. Refunds for paid services are provided in full when requested within 14 days from the payment date. Refunds are processed without any conditions or restrictions.
  4. Refund requests can be made through the Service settings or customer center (info@archive-84.com).

Article 11 (Service Changes and Suspension)

  1. The Company may change all or part of the Service according to operational and technical needs.
  2. Important changes to the Service will be announced in advance through in-service notices.
  3. The Company may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service in the following cases:
    • Regular system maintenance, expansion, and replacement
    • Natural disasters, power outages, service equipment failures
    • National emergencies, service suspension by service providers
    • Other force majeure circumstances

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company is exempt from responsibility for Service provision when unable to provide the Service due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
  2. The Company is not responsible for Service usage disruptions caused by user negligence.
  3. Due to the nature of AI services, the accuracy, completeness, and suitability of generated responses are not guaranteed. Users should use AI responses only as reference materials.
  4. The Company is not responsible for users not achieving expected results from using the Service.
AI-generated responses are for reference only. Professional review is recommended for important decisions.

Article 13 (Liability for Damages)

  1. The Company or users are liable for damages caused to the other party by violating these Terms.
  2. The Company's liability for damages is limited to the amount paid by the user for the paid service.

Article 14 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. Lawsuits regarding disputes between the Company and users are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. If a lawsuit is filed regarding disputes arising during Service use, the court having jurisdiction over the Company's headquarters location shall have jurisdiction.

Article 15 (Miscellaneous)

  1. Matters not specified in these Terms and interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by relevant laws and commercial practices.
  2. The Company may establish specific terms (hereinafter "Individual Terms") for specific services and announce them through the Service when necessary.

Marketing Information Consent (Optional)

The Company may send marketing information to provide users with various benefits and information. By consenting to receive marketing information, you can receive the following:

  • New features and service update announcements
  • Discounts, promotions, and event information
  • Service usage tips and guides
  • Surveys and user feedback collection

Delivery Methods

  • Email
  • In-service notifications

Withdrawal of Consent

Marketing information consent can be withdrawn at any time. You can change your preferences in Settings > Notification Settings, or withdraw through the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of received emails.

Not consenting to marketing information does not restrict Service usage. However, you will not be able to receive useful benefits and event information.
